100m2, a comedy play
Friday, 10 August 2012, 08:00pm
To Sunday, 02 September 2012

hispanic-artistic theatreplay spanishaustralia"Life is what goes on while you are busy making other plans", John Lennon.

100m2 tells the story of Sara, a 30 year old woman who buys a flat for a very good price because of an unusual feature: the owner, a 73 year old woman, will live in until the day of her death. For Sara, that day doesn't seem to be very distant as Lola doesn't care about her health and smokes and drinks too much despite her doctor telling her not to.

Time goes by and Sara's new life falls apart while Lola's recovers her vitality. The co-existence between Sara and Lola develops in a touching story of friendship and shared loneliness between two very different but fascinating women. Expect laughs, tears and cheers! 100m2 was premiered in Miami in 2009 and since has been staged in several countries including Spain, Chile, Puerto Rico, Italy, Greece and now Australia.

Check out our Facebook page for the chance to win a free double pass to a special show of '100m2' on 9 August (competitions ends on Friday 27 July)
